Internships

Internships help lay a foundation for your career. And oh, the places you’ll go! Thanks to our location in North Carolina’s state capital and our talented faculty and alumni base, the School of Public and International Affairs can help you start building your own network as you plan for your career.

Our students participate in wide-ranging internships — in both the public and private sectors — in North Carolina, Washington, and across the world. Explore our internship pages and let us help you find the position that’s right for you.

Study Abroad

Studying abroad provides a valuable perspective for students hoping to work in public administration, diplomacy, politics and more. You will gain unique insights by studying in places like China, France, South Africa and Cuba — just to name a few.
