Xintong Chen began the PhD program in Fall 2016. Her research interests include community capacity and resiliency, inter-organizational network, organizational change, social welfare policy and comparative studies between America and Chinese administrative systems. She is currently a member of the NCSU Fire Chasers team, studying organizational network and inter-organizational communication during large wildfires. She received her B.A. in Labor and Social Welfare from Hebei University of Technology in China and M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University.
