Pi Alpha Alpha is the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration, the purpose of which is to encourage and recognize outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration. Each fall, the Nominations Committee will select from students who have completed at least 18 hours of coursework in either the Master of Public Administration (MPA) or PhD in Public Administration curriculum, who have a GPA of no less than 3.70, and who have an approved Graduate Plan of Work. The Committee selects up to ten students, or the top 30% of the class, whichever is larger.
