MPA Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to our 2018 MPA Alumni Scholarship Award winners! Thanks to the generosity of the PA Alumni Society scholarship endowment, we were able to offer two scholarships this year to Mr. Levin Jones, and Mr. Adrian Day. These students are recognized for their excellence in public administration, and we look forward to seeing all that they achieve in their future endeavors!
Levin Jones

Levin Jones was born and raised in Kinston, NC. As the son of two teachers, Levin has a great appreciation for education, and is excited to be working towards his MPA. He holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Pitt C.C., as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. After college, Levin spent almost five years working in the construction industry. In 2016, Levin brought his experience to local government. Currently he is serving the City of Raleigh as a commercial building inspector.

Adrian Day

Adrian is a Chapel Hill native, but lived and worked in Washington DC for over 10 years. Adrian has spent over a decade in higher education management in both public and private universities. Working at NC State, Adrian helped manage the largest grant to the university, $140 million while at the PowerAmerica Institute. Currently, Adrian serves as the Senior Director for Research Fiscal Affairs with the Office of Research and Innovation. Prior to working at NC State, Adrian managed Auxiliary Business Services at Georgetown University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University, has completed continuing education coursework for corporate business accounting at Georgetown University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at NC State. Outside of work, Adrian is an avid grilling enthusiast and new father.
